About the Role

As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing people strategies that support our client's evolving business needs. Reporting to the Executive Manager, People & Safety, you will lead a team across HR advisory, payroll, recruitment, and rostering, ensuring best-practice HR solutions are embedded across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving workforce planning and optimisation to enhance operational efficiency
• Leading employee relations, performance management, and remuneration strategies
• Overseeing recruitment, talent management, and payroll compliance
• Providing expert guidance on IR/ER matters, including enterprise agreement negotiations
• Partnering with senior leaders to build capability and foster a high-performance culture
• Leading the transition to a new Human Capital Management (HCM) system

About You

You are a seasoned HR leader with strong expertise across workforce strategy, IR/ER, and HR operations. Your ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment will be key to your success.

You will bring:

• A minimum 5 years proven experience in HR leadership roles, ideally within aged care, health, or other complex rostered environments
• Strong industrial relations and enterprise bargaining knowledge
• Experience leading payroll and rostering functions, with a data-driven approach to HR metrics
• The confidence and credibility to influence senior leaders and drive change
• A collaborative and people-focused leadership style, with a track record of developing high-performing teams
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
