Distinctive Wardrobe Solutions is a growing family business based in Bathurst since 1977, and we are looking to add a key player to our tight knit team. We supply and install wardrobes and shower screens to the construction industry across multiple states/territories.

Are you an experienced Machine Operator looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Do you have expertise operating Beam Saws, CNC Machines, and/or Edge Banders? If so, we want to hear from you! This is a varied role assisting our small team with the machine operating as well as assisting with a range of other tasks required in the smooth running of our onsite factory located in Bathurst.

The Role:

• Operating the Beam Saw, CNC Machine and Edge Bander on a day-today basis, including set-up and routine maintenance.
• Operation of the forklift to load and unload materials and completed jobs.
• Contributing to the smooth production and to the overall efficiency of our onsite factory.
• Working closely with the other staff and the operations manager to maintain efficiency and meet deadlines.
• Liaising with management in relation to factory operations and staff.
• Reporting issues regarding damage to products and equipment to production and/or management.
• Maintaining the factory floor and keeping the factory clean, safe and organised.
• Conduct yourself with honesty and integrity in all situations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating a Beam Saw, CNC and/or Edge Bander.
• Experience maintaining machinery.
• Forklift Licence and experience operating a forklift.
• A proactive team player with good communications skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow specific instructions from management.
• Flexible and adaptable to the varying needs of the business.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small or large team.
• Must enjoy hands on work.
• First Aid Certificate preferred but not essential.
