Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Precast Carpenters (Second Fix Carpentry & Joinery) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for forming up and marking out precast concrete elements according to detailed drawings with high accuracy. You will also play a key role in ensuring all measurements, squareness, and diagonals meet the required specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting precast and reinforcing shop drawings.
• Marking out and forming up precast components with precision.
• Working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Adhering to workplace safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborating with the team to achieve production goals.
• Using problem-solving skills and "thinking outside the box" to overcome challenges.

Required:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Second Fix Joiner/Carpenter.
• Experience in precast concrete production (not essential but advantageous).
• Strong understanding of measurement and marking out.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret precast and reinforcing shop drawings.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Ability to follow safe work procedures and company policies.
• Willing to learn.
• Valid Driver’s License (mandatory)
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
