About the role

Ashgrove Tree Services is seeking an experienced Arborist to join our team on a casual basis. This role is based in Everton Hills, and surrounds. It will involve a mix of hands-on arboriculture work and the supervision of junior team members.

What you'll be doing

• Safely climbing, pruning, trimming and removing trees of varying sizes and complexities
• Assessing tree health and risks, and recommending appropriate treatments
• Operating a range of arboriculture equipment and machinery
• Providing on-site guidance and support to junior members of the team
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
• Maintaining detailed records and reporting on job progress

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Arboriculture
• AQF Level 3, references required
• Demonstrated expertise in a range of arboriculture techniques
• Strong knowledge of Australian tree species and their management
• Proficiency in the use of chainsaws, chippers, and other arboriculture equipment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A commitment to workplace health and safety
• A current manual driver's license
• MR license and willingness to drive trucks highly regarded and rewarded.
