We are an established Air Conditioning company specialising in commercial sales and installations of Air Conditioning products with in house workshop for duct manufacturing. We require a full- time Electrician.

Required Qualification

Relevant qualification in the field Bachelor or higher is required with addition of a minimum of 2 years full time, if qualification is not presented, applicants must show 5 years full time experience

Task Duties

• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, based on job specifications and local codes
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment using testing devices such as voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

• Ensure compliance with electrical standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
• High attention to detail and problem solving
• Have NSW Drivers licence
• Have Construction Industry Card (White)
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Work well in a team
• Hardworking personality
• Able to use hand tools
• Ability to read drawings
• Have Working Rights in Australia
