Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Cost Management & Reporting – Maintain, develop, and implement robust systems to track and report on forecast and actual costs.
- Financial Control – Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and best practices in cost attribution and reporting.
- Budgeting & Forecasting – Contribute to detailed financial forecasts, profiling costs across the full project life cycle.
- Collaboration & Strategy – Work closely with project leaders, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Process Improvement – Drive efficiency and transparency, ensuring a single source of truth for all financial data.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience – 5+ years in a cost control role, ideally within the construction industry.
- Qualifications – Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Technical Skills – Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel expertise is a must!), plus a solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and cost management.
- Attention to Detail – A meticulous approach to financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.
- Problem-Solving Mindset – Proactively identify financial risks and mitigation strategies to support project success.
