Senior Health & Safety Advisor - Civil Construction
$130k - $180k + Company Car

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a well-regarded civil construction company with a strong presence across Queensland. This role will see you working across a variety of large civil infrastructure and earthworks projects including drainage, roads, detailing and utilities, ensuring best-practice safety standards are upheld. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site audits, safety inspections, and risk assessments
• Provide guidance on WHS compliance and company safety policies
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure safety documentation, including SWMS and JHAs, is maintained
• Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and management to drive safety initiatives
• Encourage a proactive approach to workplace safety

Skills & Experience Required:

• Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (Diploma highly regarded)
• Previous civil construction experience (roads, bulk earthworks, utilities, subdivisions, etc.)
• Up-to-date knowledge of Queensland WHS laws and industry best practices
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a hands-on approach
• High attention to detail and ability to problem-solve in dynamic environments
• Construction White Card and a valid driver's licence
