Are you a passionate sales hunter with a knack for building relationships and driving business growth? Our client, a leading full-service supplier to infrastructure, construction, and maintenance contractors, is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their Adelaide team.

About the Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing growth strategies, and building long-term customer relationships. The role is 80% hunting and 20% farming, making it perfect for a self-motivated go-getter who thrives on generating new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to drive engagement and growth.
- Own and drive the region's business development efforts, exceeding sales targets.
- Create and execute a regional business plan to maximise opportunities.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of all products and use this knowledge to grow customer accounts.
- Manage opportunities and collaborate with the broader team.
- Generate leads and identify new business opportunities.
- Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to increase sales.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver effective campaigns.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in business development, ideally within the construction industry.
- Hunter mentality – skilled at building new relationships and generating leads.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Commercial awareness with a passion for sales success.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of results.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organisational skills.
