The Role
As an Internal Auditor, you’ll play a key role in risk management, governance, and compliance for a range of clients. Working closely with senior leadership, you will lead engagements, mentor junior staff, and provide valuable insights to improve business processes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading multiple internal audit engagements across various industries.
- Conducting risk assessments and compliance reviews to enhance governance structures.
- Meeting with clients to review processes, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
- Preparing high-quality reports and presentations for Boards and Audit Committees.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Assisting in the development of client proposals and business development opportunities.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in internal audit, governance, or risk advisory.
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Full Australian working rights and ability to travel when required.
