We are a mixed billing general practice clinic in Australind and we are on the lookout for a passionate and driven Practice Manager to join and lead their dedicated team.

We seek a highly motivated and organized practice manager to join our team at Apollo Medical & Skin Clinic. As the practice manager you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our general practice medical centre – ensuring efficiency, quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the practice including scheduling, staffing and resource allocation.
2. Human Resources: Recruit, train and supervise administrative and clinical staff. Conduct performance evaluations and address any staffing issues.
3. Patient Care: Ensure that patients receive high quality care and excellent customer service. Handle patient complaints and concerns effectively
4. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
5. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with doctors to develop and implement strategies for practice growth.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare management or administration especially in a leadership role, preferably in a general practice setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in medical billing and coding healthcare regulations and financial management
• Familiar with our electronic health system Best Practice and other healthcare technology
• Ability to prioritize tasks, problem solve and work effectively under pressure.
• Some knowledge of some medical terminology, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
