About the Role:
You’ll be part of an established Cyber Security team, reporting into the Cyber Security Technical Director. As the Infrastructure Security Architect, you’ll play a key role in the design, implementation and maintenance of secure infrastructures, ensuring regulatory compliance and protecting the operations of the organisation from security threats.

Responsibilities:

• Design secure infrastructure architectures for a range of projects, including cloud, hybrid and on-premises systems.
• Select and implement security solutions such as IDS/IPS, firewalls, network segmentation and encryption technologies.
• Carry out risk assessments and threat modelling for existing and new infrastructure components.
• Develop and maintain the infrastructure aspects of the organisations incident response plan.
• Define and implement security policies, procedures and standards across all infrastructure platforms and ensure regulatory compliance.

Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in an infrastructure security role
• Experience in designing secure networks, systems and application architecture
• An understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization
• Knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and switching
• Cloud platform experience with either AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as CPS 234, NIST, and PCI-DSS
