About the role

We are seeking a highly capable Finance and Accounts Manager to join our dynamic team at Pure Water Systems' Burleigh Heads office. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for overseeing all financial, accounting and administrative functions of the business. With over 32 years of experience in providing high-quality water filtration solutions, Pure Water Systems has established itself as a leader in the industry. What you'll be doing

• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections
• Oversee payroll and employee benefits administration
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial and tax regulations
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and accountant to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Implement and maintain efficient administrative processes and procedures
• Collaborate with departments to create and manage budgets, analyzing variances and providing insights for improvement.
• Provide strategic financial advice to the leadership team
• Provide support and backup to the Finance & Admin Team to ensure financial deadlines are met
• Train and mentor finance team members to foster a high-performance culture.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in a senior finance or administration role, preferably in the accounting industry
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
