Field Service Mechanic | Rocklea | $50/hr Perm

Our client, a rapidly growing business built from the ground up over the past four years, is looking for a Field Service Mechanic to join their team. This role focuses on servicing and repairing compact construction equipment, including excavators, dumpers, ride-on rollers, pumps, and generators.

The Role

• Diagnose, service, and repair compact construction equipment at customer sites.
• Work on a variety of equipment, including excavators, skid steers, compaction rollers, EWP's, pumps, and generators.
• Perform breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain detailed service records and job documentation.
• Ensure high-quality repairs with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Who We’re Looking For

• Experienced field mechanic with a background in fleet/hire mechanics, council workshops, or retail dealerships.
• Strong experience with mobile plant equipment.
• MR Truck License preferred but not required.
• Strong organisational skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Pay & Hours

• $50/hr permanent.
• 7 AM – 4 PM schedule, with overtime available.
• Company vehicle & fuel card provided for field service work.
