PROJECT MANAGER

Our client is a well-established company specialising in construction projects, disaster recovery response, and rebuilding efforts throughout Australia. They play a crucial role in restoring homes and communities affected by natural disasters, delivering high-quality, efficient project execution. As part of their ongoing expansion, they are seeking a Project Manager with residential insurance construction experience to join their dynamic team in their Brisbane office.

Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of residential insurance and disaster recovery projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

• Managing subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Overseeing budgets and ensuring cost control across multiple projects.
• Liaising with stakeholders including clients, insurance providers, and internal teams.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant Health & Safety regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinating with different departments to streamline project workflows.

About You:

• At least 3 years’ experience in Project Management within residential insurance construction or in construction
• Trade background (carpentry preferred) highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction terminology.
• QBCC Licence
• Must be computer literacy, ability to use project management software and general IT proficiency.
• Excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
