Eden Ritchie is seeking a Principal Finance Officer (AO6) to support a cost recovery review project and financial reporting within a key government agency.

• Duration: Immediate start to 30 June 2025
• Location: Brisbane/Hybrid

As the Principal Finance Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
• Providing financial management services and specialist advice to stakeholders.
• Supporting budget development, financial modelling, and performance reporting.
• Identifying and implementing business improvement opportunities.
• Ensuring compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and legislation.
• Preparing business cases, reports, and briefing notes for senior management.

Desirable Requirements & Skills:
• Experience in financial management, budgeting, and performance reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of financial systems, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
