About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team at the Aspire Medical Centre Eastwood. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.

What you'll be doing

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and patient education
• Collaborating with the medical team to develop and implement individualised care plans
• Administering medications and other treatments as prescribed by the physicians
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Assisting with various clinical procedures and providing support to the medical team
• Promoting a safe and comfortable environment for patients and their families
• Participating in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance your nursing skills

What we're looking for

• EEN with an immunisation certificate or RN
• Current unrestricted nursing registration with AHPRA
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the medical team
• Mandarin language skill to effectively communicate with non-English-speaking Chinese patients
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technologies
• A compassionate and patient-centred approach to nursing care
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Wound management, care plan exposure and surgical assistance skills are desirable but not essential.
