An exciting and challenging opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and results-oriented director to join Pyrenees Shire Council. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this position is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and plays a vital role in shaping the future of the Council.

This role will oversee and manage a diverse range of Council functions, including:

• Financial Management
• Customer Service
• Governance and Risk
• Community Wellbeing
• Information Technology

The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensure high-quality, responsive service delivery and will have:

• Tertiary Qualifications in a financial or business-related discipline.
• Significant experience at a senior management level including staff and budget responsibilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial management needs in Local Government.
• A Victorian Drivers Licence.
• A management qualification (highly regarded)
