It is also the largest non-government provider of rehabilitation services in Western Australia, with private and publicly funded services supported by a comprehensive multidisciplinary team
Your role at St John of God Mount Lawley Hospital
We are currently seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our dedicated and supportive team in Day Surgery at SJOG Mount Lawley.
As Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for performing duties under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse to ensure that a high level and quality of patient care is delivered.
The role is offered on a permanent part-time basis offering 35 hours per week.
The Position Enrolled Nurse - Day Surgery
- Conducts nursing practice in accordance with Nurses and Midwives Board of Australia (NMBA) Enrolled Nurse Competency Standards, regulations and Scope of practice.
- Participates in the planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care and will refer back to the Registered Nurse for any nursing care that is outside the practice, competence and responsibility of an Enrolled Nurse.
- Monitor, maintain and develop own standards of professional nursing practice and supervises Assistants in Nursing/ Patient Care Assistants and Enrolled Nurse students in the delivery of patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
- Participate in formulating appropriate safety, security and risk management strategies in the workplace for the protection and well-being of staff and patients.
- Implements risk management and preventative measures whilst undertaking their role.
You will hold current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience and demonstrated commitment to quality patient care.
To succeed you will have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team and have a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

- Salary: $70,181 to $74,860 (pro rata for part time) plus 11.5% superannuation
