Brightscope HR is looking for a Production Supervisor to work the Afternoon shift for a temp-to-perm position for our client based in Mordialloc!

About the role:

• Shift Times - 5 days a week / (8 hour days)
• Afternoon shift = Start 2pm / Finish 10pm
• Will soon be implementing a 12 hour shift, 2 days on 3 days off 2 days on schedule both AM or PM, later this year
• Temp-to-perm position!
• Immediate start

Duties include but not limited:

• Will be responsible for overseeing the successful operation of various teams on production lines within the manufacturing plant including: Extrusion line, shredding/washing line & Bagging line, water treatment.
• Will be responsible for shift management and organisation of relevant team.
• Will be required to record and assess relevant production data.
• May be required to operating forklifts around machinery for loading and movement of finished products.
• Will be required to assist teams in all department and ensure safe procedures and work environment requirements are adhered.
• Must be able to understand the operations of each machine lines and their controls (training provided)
• Will be required to assist with problem solving, fault finding, trouble shooting, and organising repair of faulty machines along with basic machinery maintenance (Maintenance training provided)

• Previous production management/supervisory experience (approx. 2 years+)
• Forklift experience (approx. 1 year )
• Strong OH&S mindset and willing to speak up
• Able to work autonomously and part of a team
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Physically fit and capable of manual duties including moderate to heavy lifting. 20kg max
• Own car and licence
