About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to join Aston Lucas Gourmet as a full-time Production Supervisor based in Kensington, VIC 3031. As Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the production processes and leading a team to ensure high-quality output to meet customer demands. This is a critical position that will contribute directly to the success of the company's manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of orders
• Monitor production processes and troubleshoot issues to maintain quality standards and minimise waste
• Provide hands-on coaching and training to production staff to develop their skills and capabilities
• Collaborate with other departments to align production plans with business objectives
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reporting on production metrics
• Hours Sun to Thurs 10am - 6.30pm

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing/logistics environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle production challenges
• Technical understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Operations Management, Engineering or a related field
