As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. You will be reporting to and working closely with the CFO, contributing towards key business initiatives.

What you will be doing:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Oversee purchasing activities to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and standards.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts.
• Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Relevant qualifiation OR proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role - Required
• Experience within the Education industry - Desired
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems.
• Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
