The Role

• Lead the preparation of tenders and quotations for various procurement methods
• Manage the entire tendering process from assessment to submission
• Source subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance with tender requirements
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and government agencies to source and develop new tenders
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage project schedules
• Lead and mentor the estimating team

The Criteria

• Minimum 5 years’ estimating experience across commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of procurement systems, building codes, and statutory requirements
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, estimating software, and construction planning tools
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of Work Health and Safety Act and relevant construction regulations
