We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for hands-on engineering. This role requires the ability to work independently as well as within a team, with opportunities for career growth into a project management position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in mechanical design projects, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including software and electronics engineers.
  • Conduct research and development for new product designs and improvements.
  • Utilize and master various CAD software for mechanical design and simulation.
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Participate in international business trips (minimum twice a year to China) and communicate effectively with overseas partners.
  • Provide technical insights and solutions for clients involved in robotics competitions.
  • Operate and maintain FDM 3D printers, optimize slicing parameters, and explore material properties for different applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with Honours or above in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin (additional languages are a plus).
  • At least 3 years of experience in FDM 3D printing, including knowledge of slicing software and material characteristics.
  • Expertise in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, Fusion360.
  • Strong hands-on capabilities with experience in assembling, troubleshooting, and optimizing mechanical systems.
  • Basic understanding of programming and electronics to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Proven experience in independent project execution.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in international robotics competitions with notable achievements.
  • Prior experience in project management or leadership roles.
  • Ability to provide constructive insights for robotics-related clients and projects.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a passion for innovation.
