Our client is a local company servicing the mining and industrial sectors. Due to growth, we’re seeking a Workshop Technician to join their workshop team to assist with the service, maintenance and repairs of their machinery. From time to time, you’ll also attend client sites including mine sites, to conduct service and breakdown works. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is reliable with a mechanical aptitude. Although a trade qualification is desirable, it’s not essential as training is provided.

The Role:

• service, repair & preventative maintenance works
• technical trouble shooting
• conducting safety inspections as required
• regular communication with our Service Manager
• ensuring tools and equipment are kept in satisfactorily safe condition

What we're looking for:

• Basic mechanical, electrical or fabrication skills and/or knowledge (previous experience in these fields highly regarded)
• Ability to work in a team or independently
• Current Australian Driver’s License
• Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing
• Previous service technician experience a plus but not needed.
