The company is Australian based with a remote/hybrid model, and this role will be based in Melbourne.
You're a Perfect Fit If You:
- Have a strong technical background in IT support, preferably in software and systems management.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate a Systems Mindset understanding how all components are connected, and their cause-and-effect relationships.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Have experience with Tableau or similar reporting tools (highly advantageous).
- Possess experience with server hardware, hypervisors, and various operating systems.
- Maintain a customer-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Are eager to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organisation.
- It’s advantageous if you bring experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell), Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tools, Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional support to customers across Kalibre solutions, with a focus on applications down to hardware, hypervisors and operating systems
- Incident Management: Manage support tickets, ensuring compliance with SLAs and liaising with third-party vendors.
- Problem Management: Investigate root causes, implement solutions, and produce documentation.
- Change Management: Own the change management procedure and deploy changes to internal and customer systems.
- Release Management & Testing: Testing of new software releases and maintain test environments.
- Health Checks & System Tuning: Perform regular system health checks and implement performance improvements.
- Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain knowledge base articles for internal and external use.
- Solution Deployment: Perform software deployments for customer systems, both remote and on-premises.
- Observability and Performance Management: Tune event processing, implement best practices, and assist with report development.
- Training: Provide training on troubleshooting and administration of Kalibre solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and contribute to company-wide methodologies.
Remuneration:
