Salary: Casual at $32.25 - $37 p/h (depending on experience) plus super

Overview

Do you love working in the outdoors, keeping fit and lots of variety in your role? Our client is seeking an Activities Coordinator / Guest Services agent for their outstanding facility located at Stuarts Point.

This position would ideally suit someone who loves working independently, has a passion for leading outdoor recreational activities for various client groups, and play an integral role across the kitchen, maintenance, and housekeeping areas.

This role provides you with the opportunity to keep fit and active whilst providing amazing experiences for each and every group. Your excellent customer service skills, organisational ability and focus on providing quality service will make you the perfect candidate for this role.

Primary Purpose of the Position

As part of the team, you will coordinate activities for schools, community and church groups across 2 sites as well as be an all-rounder in cleaning, kitchen, maintenance & catering as needed.

Key accountabilities/responsibilities:

• Provide quotes, design and run various activity programs
• Ensure maintenance of all relevant equipment
• Organise and coordinate the briefing and training of staff in activities and operations
• Identify areas for improvement and update policies and procedures
• Experience the satisfaction of being part of a ministry that builds Christian experiences
• Opportunity to get involved in process improvement and operational efficiencies across site

Desirable:

• An Australian VET qualification and experience in outdoor recreation is mandatory
• Proven ability to work with children and young adults and remain calm and efficient under pressure
• Clear communication skills
• Have an understanding of, commitment to, and support the values, ethos and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

Essential Criteria:

• Current Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
• Rights to Work in Australia
