About the role

This is a full-time position for a hands-on Yard Supervisor to lead and manage our fencing yard employees.

This role is vital in liaising directly with the logistics team and management team to co-ordinate stock preparation and stock cleanliness for external and internal transport movements whilst ensuring all requests are carried out to the safest, most efficient practices.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Effective time management and attention to detail
• Ideally prior leadership experience or potential to develop
• Exceptional safety awareness and experience
• Clear verbal and clerical communication skills with customers and colleagues
• Weekly stocktakes capturing stock levels and advising ordering requirements.
• Strong customer service, processing through MCS app and outcome focus
• Co-ordinate with management regarding basic repairs for the branch forklifts and liaison with our warehouse supplier for stock movements
• Qualifications or knowledge/experience of Workplace Health and Safety fucntions

A Forklift licence (LF) is a must and a HR or MR licence would be highly regarded. As you will be attending customer sites a Construction White Card is also essential for this role (which can be obtained if not already held).
