About Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre OSHC
We are a non-for-profit out of school hours care service that offer before and after school care and vacation care at Crown Street Public School for 120 children. We work closely with our families and local community to offer high quality care and pride ourselves on having a close knit and supportive team of educators.

About the role:
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about working with children and providing them with a safe and enjoyable learning experience. We are looking for educators with previous experience in an OSHC setting who are interested in developing their skills within the sector. There are opportunities for further growth, development and study while in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the team in planning and delivering engaging and educational activities for children aged 5-12 years
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
• Collaborate with other educators to implement activities
• Maintain a clean and organised learning environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a educational setting - OSHC experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to think creatively and design engaging activities
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
• Current paid WWCC
• Completed or working towards ACECQA approved Diploma or Certificate is preferred but not essential
• First Aid (or willing to obtain)
• Current Child Protection certificate (or willing to obtain)

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 6:00pm (can be flexible based on availability)
