The position:

• 12 month contract part-time (0.6 FTE) with flexibility and autonomy.
• Extension and/or additional hours subject to securing additional funding.
• A salary $85,000 – $93,000 per annum (pro rata) plus superannuation, based on experience.
• A supportive and collaborative work environment focused on conservation and sustainability.

Essential:

• Tertiary qualification or extensive experience in environmental science, conservation, land management, or a related field.
• GIS skills preferably using QGIS.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and contract management.
• Experience working with landholders, community groups, Traditional Owners, Aboriginal Corporations, and volunteers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to produce well-structured reports and presentations.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems creatively, and manage multiple priorities.
• Australian Driver's License - Manual (C Class)

Desirable:

• Experience in public speaking, facilitation, and stakeholder workshops.
• Previous work experience in a not-for-profit or incorporated association.
• Familiarity with video conferencing tools such as Teams and Zoom.
