About the role
This full-time Credit Officer position at All Metal Australia in Thornton, NSW provides an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the Accounts Receivable and Credit Control function. You will be responsible for managing the credit control process to ensure timely payments and minimise the company's credit risk exposure.

What you'll be doing

• Reconciling daily banking
• Monitoring accounts receivable and following up on overdue payments
• Analysing customer credit history and making credit limit decisions
• Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve credit issues
• Processing credit applications for new and existing customers
• Identifying trends and recommending strategies to improve credit management

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve credit issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers and internal stakeholders
• Proficient in using credit management software
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
