Marketing Executive

One Little Seed is a small hybrid agency supporting the tech industry with Marketing Manager-as-a-Service. We’re looking for a Marketing Executive to join our small but mighty team. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Senior Marketing Managers, Content Writers and Creative Design Team, owning and executing a broad spectrum of activities across marketing and operations.

Generalist marketing activities are the primary component of this role, where you can assist in different marketing practice areas - from campaign management, social media through to marketing operations, and event coordination. This is the perfect opportunity for a marketer with a few years experience looking to build out their generalist skill set and be exposed to a variety of tech companies. You’ll be regularly involved with brainstorming sessions with the Senior Marketing Managers and client meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management and Campaign Execution

Assist in the coordination and project management of client marketing campaigns and day-to-day brand building activity. This can include project tracking in the back end, time allocation for projects, all the way through to social media scheduling for client engagement.

Support in the coordination and execution of client events, including trade show sponsorships, executive roundtables, meetups and webinars. You will work with the Senior Marketing Manager to ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date, brand guidelines are met and a great experience for everyone involved in the event.

Work within our clients Marketing CRM’s to build and manage EDM campaigns, and follow up reporting.

Operational Efficiency

Accelo is our go to platform – your role is to become our superuser of it. We want you to be able to deep dive and help us get the most from it as a team. You’ll own this database and be responsible for driving accuracy and efficiencies for the team. Ensuring workflows and schedule management to ensure resources are fully optimised and availability is communicated to the wider team.

Knowledge building through researching and understanding key market trends, relevant whitepapers and other content that can support One Little Seed and our customers. We want you to have a voice within the organisation.

Data Analytics and AI Technologies

Research and provide recommendations on new AI technologies that will serve to keep us at the forefront of creativity and innovation for our clients

Work with the SMM’s to deliver client reporting against key metrics and business objectives for retainer based clients.

Produce conceptual analytical reporting for clients across Google analytics, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign and other sources to help the SMM define and refine their recommendation for client activities across the campaigns.

Content & Copywriting

Working with the team to develop and deliver the One Little Seed social media strategy. This role will give you fantastic exposure to content and copy writing, a skill in high demand! You’ll be drafting social posts, emails and shadowing the creation of white papers with senior content staff.

There’s scope to help shape our video content strategy for our clients if that’s your passion.

What we need

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar environment where you’ve demonstrated you can work across a range of tasks and spot opportunities for personal growth.

Digital-first mindset with an aptitude for learning and working within various software platforms and able to become familiar with company-specific programs and software.

Able to work cross-functionally, build rapport and collaborate as required across a fully remote team.

Some form of exposure to Digital Marketing, whether that’s using Google Analytics, setting up UTM codes, SEO best practises.

Degree in Marketing or Communications is highly desirable.

Looking for flex?

This job will start at 20-25 hours per week fully flex. There are core hours you’ll be expected to be online and available for meetings (generally 10am-2pm). This does have the potential to grow to full-time as we continue to grow, you’ll get first right of refusal for more hours. However, there’s no obligation to take more hours.
