Salary: AUD 74’000 to 78’000

We are currently seeking a skilled Chef at least 2 years experience to join our dynamic team.The ideal candidate should have experience in the culinary field and a strong passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes. A range of tasks centred on food preparation, cooking, and presentation are part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, changing menu and kitchen management .
⁃ Preparing and cooking meals .
- Creating menus, estimating food and labor expenses, and ordering necessary ingredients.
⁃ Monitoring the calibre of food during preparation and presentation; working together on food-related issues with managers, dietitians, and the kitchen and serving personnel.
- Demonstrating cooking techniques and offering advice on culinary skills.
- Ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.
⁃ Hiring, educating, and managing staffs.
⁃ freezing storing food products.

Qualifications and Skills:
⁃ Highly preferred candidate with completion of certificate IV in commercial cookery / diploma of hospitality management.
⁃ A solid understanding of kitchen health and safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices, is essential.
⁃ The ideal candidate will be skilled in various culinary techniques and comfortable using kitchen equipment and tools. Attention to detail in both food preparation and presentation is crucial, with a strong commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
⁃ You ought to be able to follow menu planning and recipes precisely and imaginatively. It's essential to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the capacity to work well in a team-oriented culinary setting. Because the position requires standing for extended amounts of time and working in a fast-paced environment, physical endurance is also crucial.
