About the role

Anason is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic team at our restaurant in the heart of Sydney's CBD. As a Chef de Partie, you will oversee a specific station or area of the kitchen, ensuring the consistent and high-quality preparation of our modern Turkish cuisine. This is a full-time role based in our Barangaroo restaurant.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
• Overseeing the daily activities and workflow of your designated kitchen station
• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organisation in your work area
• Assisting the Head Chef and other members of the kitchen team as required
• Providing training and guidance to kitchen staff to uphold culinary excellence
• Participating in menu development and food cost control initiatives

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent in a busy restaurant or catering environment
• Excellent time management, multitasking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
• Passion for creating innovative, high-quality dishes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Food safety and hygiene certification
