As a Telecommunications Technician, you will provide telecommunication services to Port of Brisbane Ltd Pty and its customers through effective management of telecommunications infrastructure and support contractors, using a customer-centric approach to sustain a high level of user satisfaction.

- You hold a Certificate III in Telecommunications or equivalent and have a broad range of experience installing, operating and maintaining voice and data telecommunications circuits and equipment.
- You have a solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and able to role model and promote Port of Brisbane’s Safety First health and safety culture.
- You are customer centric and able to communicate and collaborate effectively and respectfully with internal stakeholders, external customers, tenants, contractors and suppliers.
- You have a good attention to detail, are organised and can effectively manage and coordinate competing demands.
- You are experienced in managing contractors and work orders, ensuring that work is completed safely, effectively and to the required quality.
- You have good computer skills, especially word processing and spreadsheet programs (GIS systems would be an advantage)
- You hold a white card and comfort working at heights and in confined spaces

You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. You’ll also be required to complete pre-employment checks, including a national police check and medical.
As there’s no public transport to our sites, you’ll need a valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
