Our Client a niche government agency is looking for a strong Devops engineer to help deliver and maintain technical infrastructure.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will manage the delivery, maintenance, and support of the technical infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration between development and operations. The role requires expertise in Microsoft environments, experience in AWS and Azure, and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Key duties and responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Develop, maintain, and support infrastructure solutions using Microsoft technologies, with the ability to integrate AWS and Azure segments
• Work across the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring smooth transitions from development to deployment and ongoing support
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical delivery, translating both technical and non-technical requirements into actionable solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project needs and facilitate the implementation of DevOps best practices

Essential criteria

• Demonstrated experience in Microsoft infrastructure and cloud technologies (AWS and Azure)
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, with hands-on development experience in applications or software
• Broad technical expertise with the ability to adapt to various platforms and environments
• Experience working in a Federal Government setting, with knowledge of governance and compliance processes.
