We are looking for a Dispatch Officer to join our growing team!

About your new role

As a Dispatch Officer at Andrews Meat Industries, you will be responsible for supporting the food services operations on a daily basis within the compliance and dispatch areas. This is a full-time ongoing role, based in Lidcombe.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Lifting boxes of up to 15-20kg
• Provide full support in packing area to ensure deliveries go out promptly
• Escalate gaps in dispatch delays and adhere to dispatch schedules
• Ensure dispatched goods meet all requirements including quality, timeframes and labelling
• Organising and preparing pallets for drivers to load into trucks
• Willing to drive as a back-up delivery driver when required
• Assist with picking and packing when required
• Ability to handle all meat products (beef, pork, chicken, lamb & fish)
• Ability to work in a cold storage enviroment
• Basic maths and numeracy skills
• Other Ad Hoc duties as required

About you:

• Must hold a full Australian driver licence
• Excellent driving record and safety focused
• Aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Intermediate computer skills
• Excellent driving record and safety focused
• WHS Safety knowledge
• Physical ability to lift, stand for long periods, and work in cold environments.
