We are currently on the lookout for a Dispatch Assistance to join the team working Monday to Friday (8am to 4pm). We are ideally looking for someone who can commence mid to late January 2025.

About the role:

As a Dispatch Assistant / Pick Packer, you’ll be instrumental in our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and timely dispatch of products. From picking and packing to quality control and dispatch, your attention to detail will ensure our customers receive their orders in perfect condition and on schedule.

Key responsibilities:

• Pick and pack orders accurately and securely to meet delivery deadlines.
• Prepare shipping labels, arrange carriers, and ensure all documentation is completed and attached correctly.
• Conduct thorough checks on items, codes, and addresses to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure all orders meet SpanSet’s standards.
• Support inventory management through stocktakes and maintaining accurate records.
• Adhere to safety and packaging guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
• Contribute to resource conservation and waste minimisation efforts.

Required Skills:

• High reach forklift license and experience (advantageous).
• Previous warehouse experience, particularly in order picking and packing.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety standards.
• Basic computer skills for order processing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive, autonomous, and problem-solving mindset.
