As an Apprentice Glazier, you’ll work on a variety of exciting tasks, including:

• Interpreting Plans & Measurements - Read technical drawings and measure spaces to determine the correct amount of glass for projects.
  
• Cutting & Shaping Glass - Use diamond-tipped cutters and drills to accurately cut, notch, and shape glass.
  
• Glass Installation - Remove and replace broken glass or mirrors, ensuring all surfaces are ready for re-glazing.
  
• Edge Finishing - Polish and smooth glass edges to create a clean, professional finish.
  
• Glass Fitting - Install glass into timber, steel, and aluminium frames using putty, chemical compounds, or rubber strips.
  

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Commitment to Your Apprenticeship - We need someone dedicated to learning and growing within the glass and aluminium industry, willing to commit to a 4-year apprenticeship program.
  
• Safety First - Strong knowledge of WH&S practices and a commitment to following safety standards on the job.
  
• Good Communication Skills - Ability to work well with your team and communicate effectively with supervisors and clients.
  
• Driver’s License - A current driver’s license to travel between various work sites is essential.
  
• Reliable Transportation - Own transport to get to different project locations is essential.
