About the role:

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in:

• Working with pumps, mechanical seals, and preventative maintenance servicing.
• Measuring, cutting, grinding, and shaping materials for fabrication.
• Interpreting technical drawings and assembling parts to produce tools and machinery.
• Operating specialised tools and machinery while following strict safety protocols.
• Diagnosing faults, performing regular maintenance, and ensuring all equipment runs efficiently.
• Opportunities to work with other local employers throughout your apprenticeship to gain broader experience.

What we're looking for

• Knowledge of power tools with a mechanical mindset and a desire to understand how things work
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Punctual, reliable, resilient, and respectful with a willingness to listen, learn, and take direction
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in a hands-on setting
