The Opportunity
As the business continues to grow, our client is looking for a Broker Assistant to support their expanding mortgage broking team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in mortgage broking or lending operations, who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Your Role & Responsibilities
Client Service & Data Management
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, managing enquiries via phone and email.
- Liaise with brokers, lenders, solicitors, and other key stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate client records, CRM databases, and documentation.
Loan Application & Processing
- Review client fact finds and collect necessary documentation.
- Conduct initial credit checks and assess financial details.
- Prepare lender comparisons and pricing requests.
- Submit and track loan applications to ensure a smooth settlement process.
Post-Settlement & Ongoing Support
- Manage post-settlement client care, including rate reviews and refinancing opportunities.
- Handle loan maintenance applications (discharges, security substitutions, product switches).
- Assist with compliance, process improvements, and referrer relationship management.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience in mortgage broking or lending operations.
- Strong knowledge of financial products and lending processes.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in compliance or commission tracking (Preferred)
- Knowledge of SMSF and trust-related loans. (Preferred)
- Relationship management experience with external stakeholders. (Preferred)
