Our client is a fast-growing Australian wholesaler/distributor of Healthcare Equipment. They have over 1,000 products they provide to Hospitals, Aged Care, Community and Dealers. This role is a senior position within their Purchasing Team which supports all their customers in Australia. This is a key role in managing purchasing and inventory functions to support effective and economical business goals and objecties. here is definitely opportunity for growth and promotion. Some of your duties:-

• Lead forecasting efforts for company inventory and resource requirements.
• Oversee the entire purchasing lifecycle from start to finish.
• Monitor inventory levels for the assigned division.
• Ensure accuracy of purchase order ETA for the assigned division.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and other stakeholders to manage purchase order deliveries and provide ETA updates.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to track inventory levels and assess supply needs.
• Review and enhance processes to improve operational costs and performance, including freight and purchasing strategies.
• Maintain and actively manage master data in the inventory database to ensure consistency and accuracy across all items.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by your Manager.

Your skills and Experience:-

• Knowledge of purchasing fundamentals and inventory management
• High level of attention to detail
• Administration skills
• Logistics and import/export experience
• Effective time management skills

Technical

• SAP and/or other ERP system experience
• Knowledge of key forecasting metrics
• Advanced excel skills
• CRM system experience
• Microsoft Office Suite
