Community Food Pantry Lead

South Eastern Community Connects Peoples Pantry is looking for a manager of its Community Food Pantry to run and organise pantry operations ensuring efficient food distribution, client engagement, volunteer coordination and stock management.

Short Term Contract: Until 30 June 2025

Part Time: 2 Days per week – Wednesday / Thursday – 7.6 hours per day

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth running of Pantry operations employing good communication and organizational skills
• Maintain an organized and welcoming environment for pantry clients.
• Maintain and nurture good relationships with Pantry volunteers
• Maintain up to date records
• Management of stock, waste and donations
• Maintain Food Standards and Health & Safety

Requirements:

• Certificate or equivalent qualification in Community Services is highly regarded
• High level communication and organisational skills
• Computer literacy
• Previous experience in delivering services to the community is highly regarded
• Hold a current full driving license, and are comfortable driving a small van

This position is paid under the SCHADS Award Level 2.3 - $35.51 per hour, plus super, plus salary packaging options.
