We are seeking a highly motivated Practice Manager/EA/Administrator to join a modern, close knit accounting firm in a pivotal role. This unique and varied position offers an exciting blend of operational management, client service, financial oversight, and team leadership. You will be working directly with directors and managers, overseeing a dedicated team of administration staff while ensuring the smooth running of business operations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations to drive efficiency and productivity. Implement best practices and maintain office administration, including IT, facilities, and supplier relationships.
- Financial & Compliance Oversight: Monitor engagement and invoicing processes while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
- Client & Relationship Management: Manage client relationships, onboarding, and ensure exceptional service. Collaborate with the directors to attract and retain clients.
- Team Leadership & HR: Supervise junior office staff and foster a positive team culture. Manage the development and coordination of staff across various departments.
- Social & Team Coordination: Organise company events, team-building activities, and staff celebrations to maintain a positive and inclusive culture.
The Candidate:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in an accounting firm, with a proven track record in office administration and management.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using Xero Practice Manager or similar software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and manage relationships with clients, staff, and senior leaders.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and address operational challenges.
