Join Team Hayden – Business Manager with Direct Care Duties

Here at Team Hayden, no two days are the same – and that’s just how we like it! We are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting an incredible artist, Hayden, who has Autism. Hayden lives independently in his rented home in Greensborough, and we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Manager to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on leadership position, balancing business operations with direct client support. You will oversee team management, rostering, recruitment, and the coordination of a multidisciplinary team, all while working closely with Hayden and his family to navigate the NDIS effectively.

About the Role

As the Business Manager, you will:

Live within 30mins travel to Greensborough

Oversee and support a dedicated team of disability support workers.

Manage rostering, recruitment, and staff performance.

Ensure high-quality, person-centred care for Hayden.

Work closely with Hayden’s family to navigate NDIS processes and funding.

Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic support.

Provide hands-on direct care as part of the support team.

Maintain documentation and case notes to meet compliance standards.

Foster an engaging, creative, and supportive environment for Hayden.

Essential Criteria

Experience managing teams within the disability or community services sector.

Strong knowledge of NDIS processes and funding structures.

Certificate IV in Disability Support (or higher qualification in a relevant field).

Experience in rostering, recruitment, and operational management.

Understanding of Person-Centred Support and best practices.

Proficiency in technology, including apps and Google Drive.

First Aid Certificate.

Unrestricted driver’s licence.

Current police check.

Availability for a combination of day, evening, and sleepover shifts.

A passion for working closely with individuals and family in a long-term capacity.

Interest in art, woodwork, cooking, or crafts is a plus!
