Customer Service Manager

Location: Geraldton

Overview

Young Motors is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Customer Service Manager to lead customer service and focus on delivering a first class service to our new and existing customers in our Service Department.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Lead customer service and support the day to day running of the service department
  • Provide first class service to all customers using your interpersonal and communication skills and collaborate with team members regarding best practice customer service
  • Keep customers updated with expected lead times
  • Ensuring that customers receive top-tier service by providing guidance on automotive repairs and maintenance
  • Handling escalated customer inquiries and complaints, refund requests, ensuring swift resolution and positive outcomes
  • Reviewing day to day service department operations, including scheduling workplace and resource allocation to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity
  • Continuously evaluating and enhancing service department processes to improve efficiency and drive customer satisfaction
  • Managing interdepartmental relationships to ensure service department is functioning efficiently and effectively and to identify and respond to customer expectations and ensure exceptional customer service
  • Manage and review manufacturer KPI’s with respect to customer service and develop processes for improvement

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automotive service industry within a dealership setting
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to handle challenging situations
  • Solid understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes and technologies
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using service management software and systems.
  • Valid drivers licence
