The Role

• Our client, a busy construction & property development company, is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to assist their in-house Solicitor with a new large-scale project. Assisting with a variety of legal matters, your duties will include:
• preparing legal documents such as contracts, leases, body corporate and real estate forms
• preparing correspondence
• company searches
• liaising with architects, engineers, consultants and suppliers
• diary management
• assisting with conveyancing including online searches, transfer documents, and organising settlement.

You will also be involved with the day to day running of the business.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 3 years' previous legal assistant or paralegal experience ideally in property law, conveyancing or leasing, together with a minimum typing speed of 65 wpm. In addition, you will be able to work autonomously, have strong time management and organisation skills, and exceptional communication skills.

Attractive salary on offer to secure the right candidate, up to $100K + super depending on experience.
