About the role

We have an exciting part-time opportunity available for a Medical Practice Intake and Reception Role at Sydney Pain Centres' location in Newtown. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient intake and front-desk reception services to support the efficient and effective operation of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Handle patient inquiries, bookings, and rescheduling requests
• Collect and input patient information into the practice management system
• Prepare patient files and documents for appointments
• Assist with general administrative tasks to support the practice, including reception duties from time to time
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in an intake, medical reception or administrative role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in using practice management software and standard office equipment
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Experience with Genie or other practice management software
