Join Our Team – Disability Support Workers (Lake Macquarie & Central Coast, NSW)

Innerworks Disability Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team in Wyee, Hamlyn Terrace, and Gosford, NSW. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals with diverse disabilities, empowering them to live independently and achieve their personal goals.

We have Part-time and Casual positions available with flexible working hours, including Active Night Shifts. This is a rewarding opportunity within a supportive and friendly environment.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will support participants with a range of physical, intellectual, and mental disabilities. Your key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with daily activities, including medication administration, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Providing personal care, including bowel care, catheter care, PEG feeding, and manual handling transfers
• Supporting clients with mobility assistance

Essential Criteria

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A current and valid driver’s license
• A current First Aid Certificate
• Comprehensive vehicle insurance
• An NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Completion of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards online worker training module
• Medication Management training certification
• A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, or Individual Support
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A National Police Check
• A Working with Children Check
• Experience in mental health is preferred
