About the role
We are looking for a friendly and organised permanent full-time Membership and Engagement Supervisor to engage and foster effective and genuine relationships with prospective and current customers, stakeholders, community clubs, groups and agencies by helping people connect with one another and Swan Active.
This position is at Swan Active Midland and the successful applicant will provide effective leadership to the customer experience team members to develop and enable efficient systems and processes that provide a range of information on the Centre's services, programs, and activities to customers either face to face, phone, or through online digital communication channels.
Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to;
- Lead, develop and deploy strategies that cover the customer journey, and community engagement with a focus on membership growth, activities and promotions.
- Lead and support opportunities to enhance internal customer care and retention outcomes.
- Be courteous, respectful and a great host with all customer interactions no matter age, ability or culture.
- Create the tone and personality of the customer experience team by being an advocate of training, customer service, product knowledge and education.
- Responsible for the management, presentation and sales of merchandise.
About you
The successful candidate will have the following:
- A tertiary qualification in Customer Service/Retail, Health and Fitness, Marketing or other related discipline will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in a similar position or a customer service supervisory role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and software applications such as centre management software
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge and active use of social media
- Senior First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
- A satisfactory National Police Certificate

The salary for this position will be from $81,628.92 to $96,391.46 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
