Coastal Bin Hire (Coastal Grp.) are Geelong's leading Civil & Waste Management company. We are a small family run business, we operate our privately owned transfer station in Moolap and we are heavily focused on recovering recyclable materials to reduce waste from entering landfill.

We are seeking a motivated & physically fit person to join our team as a Casual Transfer Station Lead Hand, 5 days per week. No weekend, no Public Holidays & we close over Christmas. Training will be provided.

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly focused & organised

OH&S minded

Must have HR License or higher

Must have Plant operating experience required (posi track & excavator))

Previous experience in landfill/transfer stations desirable

Team focused with a can do attitude

Physically fit and able as this role is labour intensive

Hands on, self motivated & reliable

Duties will Include:

Organise & direct skip truck drivers

Maintain clean and well organised yard

Inspecting incoming waste loads

Sort all waste & remove recyclable materials

Operate plant machinery

Adhere to OH&S procedures and maintain a safe work environment

Cart & unload waste in hook truck to landfill & recovery center's

Communicate with business owners

To Apply You MUST have:

HR License

White Card

Skid Steer & Excavator tickets

Own reliable transport

Strong communication skills

Physically able
